To facilitate effective planning, all media requests for press box or sideline access must be submitted at least 48 hours ahead of the scheduled event. Adhering to this timeline is essential and will ensure that we can effectively accommodate your needs. Requests for credentials should be formally submitted by the assigning editor or the news/sports director representing a recognized and established news-gathering agency or outlet.
Submitting a request does not automatically guarantee access. Approved credentials will be notified via email within 24 hours of the scheduled event. Hutto ISD reserves the right to all Hutto ISD athletic contests and events.
Eligible Media
Credentials may be issued to active members of the media who represent recognized news organizations that primarily engage in news gathering as their principal source of revenue, subject to availability and space limitations.
Ineligible Media
Freelance reporters or photographers will not be provided access unless they are working under a specific assignment for an established news-gathering organization. Credential applications must be submitted by the sports editor, sports director, sports producer, sports photo editor, or by a participating school district delegate. Independent websites, social media channels, or podcasts do not qualify for credentials.
Credentials will not be granted to fan-submitted or websites that are not affiliated with an established news-gathering organization or sites whose sole entity is fan-generated message boards.
Additional Information
Passes may be revoked at any time by any Hutto ISD staff member.
Clear bag policy is in effect.
Camera and computer bags will be checked before entry.
Priority in the press box will go to the home and visiting team media groups.
Associated Press personnel may be given a seat if capacity has not been reached.
You may be required to sit outside.
Media must remain in designated areas at Hutto Memorial Stadium and are never allowed inside the coach's box.
Issued credentials are non-transferable and must be worn visibly at all times.
Interaction between media representatives and student-athletes before and during the event is strictly prohibited.
Hutto ISD prohibits the sale of photographs from any Hutto ISD athletic event and will not provide credentials to any photographers whose photos will be used for any purpose other than media coverage.
